Workflow for OpenStreetmap

So here is my workflow to make my own map for openstreetmap: -based on Windows 8.1 -install mkgmap & the splitter -osmosis -osmconvert64 -java -NSIS Workflow: -select the area -split the data with the mkgmap splitter -create the map (mkgmap) -create the installer (NSIS)
Lateron, I learned about Openstreetmaps and especially  OpenMTBMap . This one I liked a lot as the author explains on several points in the site how to make your own map. Very appreciated
First using my Garmin etrex, to walk through the pyrinees, I based my maps on Topopirineos. It served me very well, however it is not routable. Basically it was the first map I used on my GPS. For those that are interested, here is the link: Topopirineos
